The solicitation seeks two new scooters (50-300 cc) and four motorcycles (125-500 cc) for motorcycle safety training purposes, with specific requirements including a maximum seat height of 30 inches and weight limit of 300 pounds per vehicle. This procurement follows simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13 and will result in a firm-fixed-price contract awarded to the responsible quoter whose submission conforms to solicitation requirements. The solicitation was posted on August 22, 2025, with quotes due by September 5, 2025, and no written solicitation will be issued beyond this announcement.
This procurement opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and operates under NAICS code 441227 with a business size standard of $40 million. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the solicitation materials. While specific budget ranges are not disclosed, the procurement involves a total of six vehicles to be delivered within 60 days of contract award. The vehicles will be purchased from local vendors without Italian VAT (IVA) and registration fees since they are intended solely for training purposes rather than road use. Performance will take place at NAVSUPPACT Naples Capodichino, specifically at the NSA Safety Office in Building 442b, rooms 147-153, with Mr. Marcello Miccio serving as the designated point of contact for this procurement.
