About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking to procure cooling interface replacement parts and related components for naval weapons systems support through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia. The procurement includes three specific line items: cooling ducts (NSN 1680 016220224, quantity 7), valves (NSN 1680 016221463, quantity 8), and NRP cooling interfaces (NSN 1680 016503256, quantity 8). This is a sole-source procurement intended for General Atomics, identified as the original equipment manufacturer and only known source capable of providing repair support for these items. The Government does not possess rights to the technical data necessary to source these parts from alternative suppliers. All responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration, though the Government intends to award to the approved source; any non-approved firms must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR). The evaluation will focus on source approval status and capability to meet the technical requirements, with proposals received within 45 days of publication being considered for potential competitive procurement evaluation.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and represents a sole-source acquisition from General Atomics (CAGE code 4V360), the incumbent OEM. The contract will be executed under FAR Part 13 procedures with electronic submission through NECO, and no specific award value is disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice. Delivery is required FOB Origin, and the anticipated award date is August 2025, with a pre-solicitation due date of December 19, 2025. The total quantity requirement spans three related line items totaling approximately 23 individual units across the cooling duct, valve, and cooling interface categories. No technical drawings or data are available through this solicitation, reinforcing the reliance on the OEM's proprietary knowledge and existing source approval requirements for successful contract performance.
