About this opportunity

This Special Notice from the Securities and Exchange Commission announces its intent to award a sole source purchase order to Pitchbook Data, Inc. for subscription to private equity data. The SEC requires data fields not available in other datasets, including founder demographic characteristics and exit details.

The SEC will use FAR Part 13.501(a) to award a fixed-price, 12-month base contract to Pitchbook Data Inc., with four optional 12-month periods. As the sole source meeting requirements, Pitchbook is the anticipated awardee on September 24, 2020. Interested parties were to identify their capability to meet the requirement by September 17. While no competitive solicitation will be issued, the SEC will consider proposals submitted by that date. The sole source award is below the FAR threshold for the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
