About this opportunity
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to award a sole source purchase order to The Ives Group, Inc. for access to their Audit Analytics online database platform and data feeds. The notice, posted on January 27, 2025, with a response deadline of February 3, 2025, outlines the SEC's requirement for a comprehensive web-based research platform. The contracting officer has determined that Ives Group, Inc. is the only source capable of meeting the SEC's specific needs in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii). The procurement falls under the NAICS code 518210 for Computing Infrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting, and Related Services.
The primary objective of this sole source acquisition is to obtain a specialized database platform that provides detailed auditor and compliance information for U.S. public companies, broker-dealers, and registered investment advisers. The required platform must offer a searchable web interface with the ability to download data to Excel, and include specific search capabilities such as filtering by auditor, filing type, date ranges, market capitalization, and other key parameters. Audit Analytics is uniquely positioned as the sole provider with comprehensive historical data spanning at least 24 years for auditor information, 20 years for Sarbanes-Oxley and broker-dealer information, and 12 years of registered investment advisor data. While this is not a competitive solicitation, the SEC will consider responses from interested parties who can demonstrate their capability to meet the requirement by the response date. The anticipated contract period includes a base year with four one-year option periods, with an expected award date of March 21, 2025.
