About this opportunity

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued a Special Notice to announce its intent to award a single-source fixed-price purchase order to the University of Oxford for subscription to selected journals in the areas of economics, business, and finance. The SEC has determined that the University of Oxford is the only source capable of reasonably meeting the agency's requirement, as the articles from these journals have been cited in SEC rulemaking, and the publications are under copyright, making it impossible for another source to provide the required access.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform interested parties of the SEC's plan to award the purchase order to the University of Oxford on or about December 5, 2024. The period of performance is expected to include a 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods, with the total value of the purchase order being below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. While this is not a competitive request for proposals, the SEC will consider any interested parties who identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of November 18, 2024.
