About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Little Rock has issued a Special Notice regarding the consolidation of contract requirements for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) focused on minor construction projects for Civil Works (CW) and Military (MIL) sectors. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 7.107-5(c) and Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS) 5107.107-5, which mandates public disclosure of contract requirement consolidations. The notice was posted on May 8, 2025, with a response deadline of May 14, 2025, and is categorized under the NAICS code 237990 for Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The contract opportunity is set aside as a Competitive 8(a) procurement, indicating a focus on small business participation.

The primary purpose of this Special Notice is to provide transparency about the agency's determination that consolidating contract requirements is necessary and justified for these minor construction projects. Contractors interested in this opportunity must carefully review the published determination and wait the mandatory seven-day period before the solicitation can be publicized. The Competitive 8(a) set-aside suggests that eligible small businesses, particularly those certified under the 8(a) Business Development Program, will have priority consideration for this contract. The contract will involve construction and restoration of real property, as indicated by the Product Service Code (PSC) Y1QA, and will likely encompass both public and private sector project scopes. Potential contractors should pay close attention to the specific requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission guidelines that will be detailed in the full solicitation, ensuring they meet all technical, administrative, and compliance standards required by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Little Rock.
