About this opportunity

The Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Special Notice for a sole source requirement for trash services at the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) Ajo Station and Ajo Checkpoint in Arizona. The Notice indicates CBP's intent to award a 12-month contract for these services to Rubbage Control Services LLC, the only vendor found capable of meeting the requirements at the isolated Ajo locations.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to provide interested parties the opportunity to identify their capability to respond to this trash services requirement. The deadline for submission is July 29, 2024, at 8:00 am Arizona Time. While this is not a request for competitive proposals, interested vendors who believe they can meet the requirements are instructed to submit information supporting their capabilities to the Contracting Officer. The Government will make a determination, at its sole discretion, whether to compete this proposed sole source contract based on the responses received.
