About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has issued a Special Notice regarding a sole source contract opportunity with Mission Primary Services. The notice concerns vaccination services for 553 and 273 FEST Teams located in the Vicksburg geographic area. Mission Primary is being considered for direct award due to its unique positioning as the only clinic providing yellow fever vaccinations within a 175-mile radius of Vicksburg. The contract opportunity is classified under the NAICS category for Outpatient Care Centers and is set aside for total small business participation. The Special Notice was posted on March 24, 2025, with a response deadline of March 28, 2025.
The primary objective of this Special Notice is to establish a new contract order for vaccination services based on Mission Primary's extensive prior work with ERDC. The proposed sole source justification stems from Mission Primary's proven track record of providing services to the Vicksburg District and ERDC over several years. Contractor eligibility is limited to small businesses, with Mission Primary being deemed uniquely qualified to continue these specialized vaccination services. The contract's market research and pricing are derived from Mission Primary's most recent service cost documentation. Contractors interested in this opportunity should carefully review the specific requirements and understand the sole source nature of the proposed contract. The vaccination services are critical for supporting FEST Teams, and Mission Primary has demonstrated its capability to meet these specialized medical needs effectively.
