About this opportunity
This Special Notice from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announces its intent to award a sole source contract to Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer Inc. NASA requires a Bruel & Kjaer Tescia LAN-XI Data Acquisition System to expand testing capabilities at its Glenn Research Center wind tunnel facility.
The Notice provides interested parties until June 28, 2023 to submit a statement of capabilities demonstrating how competition would be advantageous if they believe they can meet NASA's requirement. However, NASA has determined Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer to be the sole responsible source as it is the exclusive manufacturer and provider of the required equipment. Compatibility with NASA's existing acoustic testing system and external customer requirements necessitate procuring the same brand of hardware to ensure traceability and integration of test data.
