About this opportunity
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source, fixed price purchase order to Thermo Electron North America LLC for the maintenance of fifteen (15) Thermo Electron UltiMate ultra/high pressure systems. These systems have proprietary parts manufactured and sold exclusively by Thermo Electron North America, and only Unity Labs service engineers have the necessary training and access to parts to maintain the systems at the required service levels. The contract will include all repairs, labor, and travel incurred during service calls for the listed systems. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, which the government will consider, though this notice is not a request for competitive quotations.
This contract action is not set aside for any particular business type. Thermo Electron North America LLC, through its Unity Labs service branch, is the incumbent and only potential contractor due to the proprietary nature of the equipment. No budget or award value range is provided, but the contract is for the maintenance of fifteen Thermo Electron systems. The deadline for responses to this pre-solicitation notice is June 10, 2024.
