About this opportunity
The Department of Defense Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition Directorate has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to award a sole source contract to Rozin Security Consulting, LLC for Red Team Security Training services. This notice serves as formal notification that the government plans to bypass competitive bidding procedures and award the contract directly to the specified vendor. The contracting agency is the Pentagon Force Protection Agency Security Evaluation Division, which requires specialized training to enhance security capabilities and maintain readiness. The notice establishes a comment period running through September 16, 2025, during which interested parties may respond. This procurement falls under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold and will be conducted according to Federal Acquisition Regulations.
The Pentagon Force Protection Agency requires a comprehensive 5-day, consecutive, in-person Red Team Security Training program to be conducted on-site at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia for 15 security professionals. The training must commence within 30 days of contract award and cover critical areas including social engineering, surveillance techniques, phishing methods, threat detection systems, physical security breaching, access control systems, intelligence gathering, and vulnerability assessment. The contracting officer has determined that Rozin Security Consulting, LLC is uniquely qualified and the only vendor capable of meeting all specified requirements for this specialized security training. The government's objective is to equip Pentagon security personnel with advanced skills needed to plan and execute effective red team assessments, ultimately strengthening the facility's overall security posture. Contractors seeking to participate must demonstrate they can provide equivalent capabilities, though the notice indicates the government believes only the identified sole source vendor meets these stringent requirements.
