About this opportunity
This Special Notice was published by the United States Marine Corps to announce its intent to award a sole-source bridge contract. The Marine Corps Installations Pacific Regional Contracting Office - Hawaii plans to solicit and award a two month contract from approximately March 1, 2020 to April 30, 2020 for management and mess hall attendant services at the Marine Corps Base Hawaii Anderson Hall and satellite dining facilities.
The sole-source award will be made to the incumbent Hawaii Department of Human Services pursuant to authority under the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The justification and approval document cites a court order enjoining competitive awards and requiring retention of the incumbent during pending arbitration under the Randolph-Sheppard Act. The notice alerts potential offerors but does not constitute a request for proposals as competitive proposals will not be considered due to the injunction. The bridge contract is estimated to have a value of $XX and utilize fiscal year 2020 operations and maintenance funds. It will also include an 18% subcontracting goal.
