About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering District San Francisco intends to sole-source a contract to Tetra Tech, Inc. for technical support services related to the remedial design phase of the Iron King Mine / Humboldt Superfund Site. The contract will provide environmental consulting services under the Environmental Consulting Services NAICS category, specifically focused on support and management activities. Interested contractors are invited to respond by December 18, 2024, with detailed information including their organization name, address, point of contact, Unique Entity ID, Cage Code, and capabilities demonstrating their ability to fulfill the government requirement. Contractors must show they can comply with all specified requirements to be considered capable. The procurement will be conducted using FAR 13 procedures under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with work potentially performed at any location where the contractor has operations.
This procurement is not set aside for any specific business category, and the notice indicates a direct intent to award to Tetra Tech, Inc. as the sole-source contractor. The contract is specifically for technical support and does not involve actual design work for the EPA Region 9 Superfund Program. While specific award value or contract duration are not explicitly detailed in the notice, the focus appears to be on providing comprehensive technical assistance for the site's remedial design phase. Potential respondents will need to demonstrate comprehensive environmental consulting capabilities relevant to Superfund site support. The solicitation suggests the work could be geographically flexible, with the contractor able to perform tasks from their existing operational locations.
