About this opportunity
The Air Force Historical Research Agency is conducting a sole-source procurement for annual maintenance support of IBML ImageTrac 6 Lite document scanners, with a capability statement deadline of July 1, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Central Time. The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to Imaging Business Machines LLC (IBML) under FAR Part 12 Commercial Simplified Procedures based on market research indicating IBML is the sole OEM-authorized service provider capable of meeting the requirement. The contract covers hardware and software maintenance and sustainment support from September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2027, including a 4-hour on-site technical response SLA, telephone support, software updates, and all parts and labor necessary to maintain scanner operational readiness. Work is performed at AFHRA, 600 Chennault Circle, Building 1405, Maxwell AFB, Alabama. The estimated contract value falls below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. Other responsible sources claiming OEM-authorized service provider status may submit capability statements demonstrating that status, along with company name, point of contact, email address, CAGE Code, and UEI to 1LT John Putnam at john.putnam.8@us.af.mil or (334) 953-8083. If no responsive offers are received by the deadline, IBML will receive the sole-source award. NAICS 811210; PSC J075.
