About this opportunity
The Alaska Army National Guard has issued a Notice of Intent to Sole Source a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to The Chariot Group Inc. for SIPR Connections services at Building 49000, Room C-207. This Special Notice, posted on January 23, 2026, is not a request for competitive proposals but rather an announcement of the government's predetermined intent to award a sole-source contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. The contracting officer has determined that only one responsible source can satisfy the agency's requirements due to compatibility and warranty constraints with existing equipment owned by the State of Alaska. The Chariot Group Inc., a Small Business Veteran Owned company based in Anchorage, Alaska, has been identified as the sole source provider based on superior past performance and the company's existing installation expertise. This notice is established in accordance with FAR 5.203 and includes an approved Justification and Approval document on file.
The primary objective of this procurement is to install and program a NIPR/SIPR selector and provide programming services for existing audiovisual equipment to enable secure videoconferencing capabilities, with a contract value of $6,000.00 and a three-month performance period. The government requires the contractor to furnish all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to complete the work, with services provided Monday through Friday from 0730-1630 hours excluding federal holidays. Key technical requirements include installing a Vaddio EasyIP Mixer, providing HDMI connectivity, and installing an Extron NBP 50 button panel, with all installations meeting manufacturer specifications. The contractor must complete installation and programming within a 180-day period and provide one one-hour end-user training session within 30 days of system acceptance. The notice is not open for competitive bidding; requests for solicitation copies will not be honored or acknowledged, and the due date for any related submissions is January 28, 2026.
