About this opportunity
The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA), part of the Department of Justice, has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to award a sole source purchase order to ECG, Inc. of Valdosta, Georgia for Alpaca ManageEZ Migration Bundle and Advanced Provisioning Software. The procurement is being pursued under FAR 6.302-1 authority, which allows for sole source awards when only one responsible source can satisfy the agency's requirements. The contract is anticipated to have a one-year period of performance from September 30, 2025 through September 29, 2026. EOUSA has determined that ECG's software tools are essential for the development and management of their Cisco BroadWorks platform, and that no other suppliers can meet their specific technical requirements.
The primary objective of this procurement is to secure comprehensive software maintenance and support services for ECG software operating on all EOUSA Laboratory and Production systems. The contractor will be required to provide software patches, updates, upgrades, and security vulnerability remediation in alignment with DOJ's security patching cycles, along with access to technical support services and trouble ticketing systems. While this notice is for informational purposes only and no Request for Quote will be issued, interested parties may submit information to Contracting Officer Maynard Minor at Maynard.Minor@usdoj.gov within five days of the August 22, 2025 publication date. Since this is a sole source procurement, there are no competitive eligibility criteria for other contractors, though the government retains discretion regarding whether to compete the requirement. The procurement value appears to be under $250,000 based on the supporting justification documentation.
