About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate intends to sole-source a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for diving equipment and components to Amron, International, with responses due June 2, 2026. This procurement is on behalf of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) to support operations on VIRGINIA and SSGN class submarines at Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport. The required items are the AGA Umbilical and MK20 Communication kits. Market research confirmed Amron does not hold a GSA Schedule for these items and they are not available from mandatory sources. Place of performance is Keyport, Washington. Period of performance is 16 weeks from award. The notice is posted for the FAR RFO 5.101 and 12.202(a) ten-day public comment period; no formal solicitation will follow. Interested parties must submit a capability statement not exceeding five pages in 12-point font demonstrating capability to provide the required diving equipment. Amron is identified as a woman-owned small business under NAICS 339920 (Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing) and PSC 4220 (Marine Lifesaving and Diving Equipment).
