About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has issued a Special Notice indicating its intent to award a noncompetitive contract to Applied Design Corp for the procurement of two Automated Dispensing Modules (ADMs) used in Brown Tree Snake baiting operations. The agency plans to award a firm fixed-price contract on a sole source basis, as the ADMs are a proprietary system developed by Applied Design Corporation and no other company can currently provide these specialized devices.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform interested parties of USDA-APHIS's intent to award a sole source contract and to allow for responses from responsible sources to be considered before a final decision is made. The anticipated cost of the one-time purchase order is not to exceed $350,000. The contract is set aside for small businesses, and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333999 with a small business size standard of 550 employees. Responses must be received no later than 10:00am CST on September 20, 2024, and the information provided will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
