About this opportunity
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) within the Department of Transportation has issued a Special Notice of Intent to Single Source a five-year firm fixed price contract for Beechcraft 300 (BE-300) aircraft technical maintenance training. This single source procurement opportunity was posted on November 19, 2025, with a due date of November 25, 2025. The contract aims to support the FAA's fleet of BE-300 aircraft by ensuring continued airworthiness, safety, and regulatory compliance through specialized maintenance training. The FAA has determined that only one vendor is authorized by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as a 14 CFR Part 142 Training Center, making this a justifiable single source contract. Interested parties with questions or concerns should contact Contracting Officer Bill Boyer at william.e.boyer@faa.gov. This procurement falls under the Flight Training NAICS category (611512) and the Education/Training-General PSC category (U009).
The primary objective of this contract is to ensure the FAA's BE-300 aircraft fleet receives compliant, high-quality technical maintenance training that aligns with current technical manuals, service bulletins, and regulatory requirements applicable to the aircraft series and the FAA-approved 14 CFR Part 135 maintenance program. To be eligible, the contractor must be authorized by the OEM and certificated as a 14 CFR Part 142 Training Center, ensuring regular FAA oversight and quality control. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, materials, instruction, and equipment to deliver the training program over the five-year contract period. Contractors must demonstrate their ability to develop and deliver training that meets or exceeds current regulatory standards and OEM specifications for the Beechcraft 300 series. The firm fixed price structure requires vendors to submit comprehensive cost proposals covering all training delivery elements over the entire contract duration.
