About this opportunity
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center, issued a notice of intent to sole-source extend the HNC Medical Repair and Renewal Design-Build Generation VII MATOC on a noncompetitive basis with a response deadline of August 13, 2026. This is not a request for proposals; no solicitation document will be issued and proposals will not be requested. The extension is authorized under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) on grounds that continued provision of highly specialized construction services in active, patient-care environments would result in unacceptable delays if awarded competitively. The current MATOC includes 23 contractors across multiple contract vehicles (W912DY25D0013 through W912DY25D0034), which collectively provide specialized construction capabilities within operational medical treatment facilities. The partial small-business set-aside applies. Work is delivered to USACE Huntsville Center and includes repair, alteration, and renewal of hospital and infirmary facilities. The notice is classified under NAICS 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) and PSC Z2DA (Repair or Alteration of Hospitals and Infirmaries).
