This pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations and the contract will not be available for full and open competition. The procurement is exclusively for Planning Technologies, Inc., making them the incumbent and sole potential contractor for this requirement. While specific award values are not disclosed in the notice, the contract involves a software license renewal for the FAA's critical obstacle determination system. The contract appears to be a continuation of an existing software licensing arrangement, with the notice serving to inform the industry of the FAA's intent to proceed with a single-source procurement. The opportunity was posted on December 6, 2024, with a question submission deadline of December 10, 2024, suggesting a relatively rapid procurement timeline.
