The notice is published by the 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, which is part of the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform the public of the agency's intent to award a sole source contract to Adapt Laser Systems LLC for the required maintenance and training services. The proposed contract is a firm fixed price agreement, and the government will consider any responses received by 2:00pm AKDT on September 13, 2024. The justification for the sole source award is that Adapt Laser Systems LLC is the only authorized service provider for the proprietary CL1000 system equipment. The government will continue to survey the market for any changes or new authorized service providers that could allow for competition in future requirements.
