About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps issued a Notice of Intent to Award a sole-source Firm Fixed Price contract to STEAMBridge Inc. for a comprehensive STEM camp program supporting the Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (MCJROTC), with capability statements due May 25, 2026.
Training and Education Command (TECOM) is procuring planning, coordination, and execution of two one-week residential STEM camps for approximately 145 cadets. The camps will be held at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, Virginia, from July 12–18, 2026, and at Ignite Pathways in Woodbine, Iowa, from July 26–August 1, 2026. The contractor must provide all personnel, facilities, equipment, supplies, and academic administration, including qualified instructors, specialized curriculum in engineering, computer science, and artificial intelligence, and 24/7 cadre support for cadet supervision and safety. The contract includes an established partnership with Shenandoah University enabling cadets to earn up to three college credits in 100-level engineering coursework.
STEAMBridge was identified as the sole responsible source based on market research demonstrating that competing vendors lack the required logistical capabilities to simultaneously manage programs at two geographic locations, cannot meet the comprehensive turnkey requirements, or have operational constraints. STEAMBridge uniquely possesses the Shenandoah University partnership, pre-designed specialized curriculum, and demonstrated capacity to execute both camps.
The Marine Corps will consider capability statements, proposals, or quotations from all interested and responsible sources demonstrating the ability to deliver the program at the specified locations and dates with an accredited university partnership and specialized AI and engineering curriculum delivery capability.
