About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command issued a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract to Pearlson Shiplift Corporation of Miami, FL for an on-site Shiplift Operation & Maintenance Training Course. The justification cites that Pearlson Shiplift is the only responsible source for this training, as they have proprietary technical details necessary for the safe and proper operation of the new shiplift system at Fincantieri Marinette Marine. The acquisition will be conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, with the contract not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. A contract was awarded to an unknown vendor on May 6, 2024, though the award amount is unknown.
