About this opportunity
The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is issuing a Notice of Intent to execute a Sole Source Award for a wide range of IT Infrastructure Operations Support Services (ITIOSS) to sustain the agency's diverse technological environment. The intended contractor is Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). This sole-source bridge contract is necessary due to a delay in awarding a new competitive contract through the General Services Administration's Assisted Acquisition Services. The key services required include IT service desk, site support, data center, voice/video/network, ITSM tool support, service catalog support, monitoring, reporting, incident management, problem management, risk management, change management, asset and configuration management, security services, test center operations, development/modernization, and disaster recovery/COOP support.
This procurement is not set aside and there is no incumbent other than SAIC, the intended sole-source contractor. The contract is expected to be awarded for up to 10 months, and interested parties may submit capability statements by November 19, 2024 demonstrating their ability to perform the required services and evidence that competition would benefit the government. PBGC will make a sole-source determination at its discretion.
