The contract is specifically for the Defense Centers for Public Health-Aberdeen (DCPH-A) Laboratory Science Directorate, which requires environmental testing samples across five matrix categories: Non-Drinking Water, Drinking Water, Soil/Hazardous Waste, Radiochemistry Water Supply, and Radiochemistry Air Filter. The primary objective of this Special Notice is to procure specialized proficiency testing samples that will enable DCPH-A to ensure the safety and security of Department of Defense operating environments and military bases through rigorous analytical services. Contractors interested in responding must submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to provide equivalent services by 11:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time on March 14, 2025. Environmental Resource Associates, Inc. has been identified as the sole source provider because they are an ISO 17043 accredited Proficiency Testing provider meeting specific TNI requirements. The contract award is anticipated by June 17, 2025, and all questions or responses should be directed to Contract Specialist Brandon Roebuck via email. Importantly, this notice is not a competitive solicitation, and the government retains sole discretion in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on received capability statements.
