About this opportunity
The General Services Administration is seeking expressions of interest for alternative office space in Washington, DC, with responses due August 19, 2026, as the Government's current leased space in the area will expire and GSA is evaluating relocation economics. No set-aside applies to this procurement.
The Government seeks properties within a delineated area bounded by Massachusetts Avenue (north), the Anacostia Freeway (west), and Southern Avenue (south and east), with 43,083 to 44,000 square feet of assignable building area (ABOA). The space must support a 15-year lease term with a 10-year firm period. Parking of 33 surface spaces is required.
Offered space must meet Government standards for fire safety, accessibility, seismic resilience, and sustainability per lease terms, and must be fully serviced. Properties located in the 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain are ineligible. All telecommunications infrastructure must comply with Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act as implemented in the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
Expressions of interest must include the building name and address, offeror's representative contact information and email address, assignable building area and rentable square feet available, and additional details to be specified by GSA. GSA will evaluate alternative space based on availability against Government requirements and total relocation costs including physical move expenses, tenant improvement replication, telecommunications infrastructure, and nonproductive agency downtime.
