About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Joint Base San Antonio has issued a Special Notice regarding the consolidation of the Iron Bank Data Operations requirement. This notice, posted on April 8, 2026, announces the intent to consolidate four existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) orders under a single solicitation. The consolidation is being pursued in accordance with FAR 7.107-3 and will utilize the Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) process on the Platform One Solutions Marketplace (P1SM). The acquiring contracting office will seek a vendor capable of providing comprehensive data operations support, including data lakehouse operations, platform and cloud engineering, AI/ML operations, website operations, and vulnerability assessment capabilities. This initiative supports Iron Bank's mission as a data provenance center for image vetting and supporting documentation for the Department of War.
The primary objective of this consolidation is to streamline operations and achieve greater efficiency by consolidating four separate BOA orders (FA830723FB016, FA830723FB057, FA830723FB058, and FA830723FB059) into a single contract vehicle. The resulting contract will consist of a one-year base period followed by four one-year option periods, providing long-term stability for the selected contractor. Interested contractors must submit proposals by May 8, 2026, in response to the CSO on the P1SM platform. The government intends to negotiate with the vendor demonstrating the most technically capable solution, with the acquisition conducted in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 3418 and DFARS 212.70. This opportunity falls under NAICS code 541511 (Custom Computer Programming Services) and PSC code DA01 (IT and Telecom - Business Application/Application Development Support Services), with no set-aside restrictions applied to the competition.
