About this opportunity

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking quotes for the supply and delivery of approximately 900 cubic yards (1,455 tons) of non-FDOT roadbase materials, such as shell-stabilized base or equivalent, for the Everglades National Wildlife Refuge. The solicitation is a firm-fixed-price contract with a period of performance from September 9, 2024, to September 12, 2024. Interested vendors must submit their quotes via email, including the Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number, a narrative description of the product, the price per ton, and the grand total for the entire quantity. Evaluation will be based on price and acceptable specification/proposal, and the Government may evaluate options and find an offer unacceptable if option prices are significantly unbalanced.

This is a total small business set-aside contract. The project site is located in the Everglades Headwaters National Wildlife Refuge in Okeechobee County, Florida, with delivery access only available via CR-68 off Highway 98. The material must meet specific environmental requirements and cannot contain asphalt mixtures. Delivery is expected to occur during the December 2024 - April 2025 timeframe, with an expected completion date of one week, weather permitting.
