About this opportunity
The Department of Health and Human Services' National Institutes of Health Clinical Center intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Cytiva-Global Life Sciences Solutions USA LLC to perform software updates on two Sepax C-Pro Cell Processing Systems. The software upgrade will increase the functionality of the systems, negating the need to purchase alternate devices and reducing maintenance costs. Cytiva is the original equipment manufacturer and sole supplier of the required proprietary software, and the only known source capable of performing the specialized software upgrade. This acquisition will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures, as the contracting officer has determined that Cytiva is the only reasonably available source. Interested parties capable of providing the same or similar products or services may submit capability statements by November 14, 2024.
This contract is not set-aside, and no incumbent contractor is identified. The contract value is not specified, but the justification notes the need to update the remaining two Sepax C-Pro systems after previously updating four of the six systems. The contract will be for the software upgrades on the two specified Sepax C-Pro Cell Processing Systems.
