About this opportunity
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration seeks pressure sensor barometers for the National Data Buoy Center at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, with quotations due June 1, 2026. This is an unrestricted, total small business set-aside acquisition using firm-fixed-price contracting.
Place of performance is John C. Stennis Space Center, MS 39529. The procurement requires quotation on two line items: three units of first article pressure sensor barometers with delivery within 60 calendar days, and 148 units of the same barometers. All costs must include shipping and tariffs to the NDBC facility.
Barometers must meet the Druck Model DPS811G-TB-A2-CC-H0-PG- specification or direct form/fit/function equivalents. Technical requirements include operating range of 800–1100 hPa, accuracy of 0.15 hPa across temperatures from −40°C to +85°C, resolution of 0.01 hPa, long-term stability of 0.1 hPa per year, RS-232 output in hPa units, acceleration sensitivity less than 0.05 hPa/g, vibration testing per BS EN 60068-2-6 and BS EN 60068-2-64, 1/8" NPT male pressure port, 1-foot cable with flying leads, supply voltage of 9–15 VDC, and current draw below 50 mA. Sensor length must not exceed 5 inches; diameter must not exceed 1 inch. Barometers must include current traceable calibration certificates and carry a 1-year warranty.
Offerors must register in SAM.gov, provide proof of reseller authorization, submit at least two past performance references for similar supplies, identify manufacturing location, declare small business status under NAICS 334513, and state approximate delivery lead time. Award goes to the responsive, responsible quoter providing the lowest evaluated price meeting non-price acceptability standards. Evaluation covers specifications compliance, past performance, and price. First article approval may be waived if the contractor has previously supplied an approved barometer to the government. Questions are due within five calendar days of solicitation issuance. NAICS code is 334513; PSC code is 6660.
