About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is soliciting repair services for Critical Safety Items (CSI) consisting of four searchlight units (NSN 7R 6230 012061585 VH, Part Number 70553-01007-104) and one rotary pump unit (NSN 7RE 4320 013289050 HT, Part Number 70654-23801-103) under Foreign Military Sales Case GR-P-BBK. This is a sole source procurement, meaning the Government intends to award the requirement to a single pre-approved contractor based on its determination that it lacks sufficient, accurate, and legible data to contract with alternative sources. Contractors must obtain Government Source Approval prior to award and submit all required documentation from the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure with their proposals; offers failing to provide complete source approval data will not be considered for award. Proposals must address compliance with Free Trade Agreements (FAR 52.225-3) and World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement requirements (FAR 52.225-5). The solicitation was posted on October 29, 2025, with a proposal due date of November 29, 2025, and inquiries should be directed to Casey Brown at casey.m.brown20.civ@us.navy.mil.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation and will be awarded under an already-established Blanket Order Agreement (BOA) on a firm fixed-price basis. The repair work will be performed at the DCMA Vertical Lift facility in Stratford, Connecticut, with a delivery period extending from October 28, 2025 through December 31, 2025. The contract will utilize the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) payment system and requires compliance with heightened quality assurance surveillance standards applicable to Critical Safety Items. While no specific award value is disclosed in the solicitation notice, the contract is identified as N0038326Q0080. The procurement falls under NAICS Category 335139 (Electric Lamp Bulb and Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing) and PSC Category 6230 (Electric Portable And Hand Lighting Equipment), reflecting the technical classification of the searchlight and pump repair work required.
