Interested organizations can submit capabilities and qualifications via email to julianna.r.macrillo.civ@us.navy.mil by May 1, 2025, with all proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis being considered. The government will use electronic procedures posted to NECO for this solicitation, and no telephone requests or hard copy communications will be accepted. Evaluation will focus on the ability to manufacture the specific aircraft parts, with a requirement that any firm not already approved must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR).
This procurement is an 8(a) sole source opportunity with an anticipated award date in December 2025, to be issued under the existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0038320GX901. The specific National Stock Number (NSN) for the parts is 7R1615016047562, categorized under NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. No drawings or data are available, and the government does not own the technical data rights to procure these parts from alternative sources. The solicitation is not a Total Small Business Set-Aside, and the procurement will follow FAR Part 15 procedures rather than commercial item acquisition policies. While the exact award value is not specified, the focus is on acquiring seven specific damper assembly units for naval helicopter systems.
