About this opportunity

The National Guard Bureau's Operational Contracting Division intends to procure National Guard Bureau presentation seal plaques through a market research Sources Sought Notice issued September 17, 2026, with responses due September 21, 2026; the requirement may be set aside for small businesses in full or in part, or procured through full and open competition, with multiple awards possible.

The contracting office (NGB-AQ-C) is located at 111 South George Mason Drive, Arlington, Virginia. The government seeks to acquire 541 circular wooden plaques, each 14 inches in diameter and 3/4 inch thick, featuring the National Guard Bureau seal with specified Pantone colors (289 C blue, 136 C gold, 718 C orange/brown), text elements ("NATIONAL GUARD" and "BUREAU"), eagle device, and eight five-pointed stars, with a recessed keyhole-style hanging slot on the reverse side suitable for presentation to Members of Congress and distinguished recipients.

Delivery is structured in three increments: 200 plaques within 60 calendar days after sample approval, 200 additional plaques within 30 calendar days thereafter, and the remaining 141 plaques within 30 calendar days after the second delivery. The contractor must submit one production-representative preproduction sample within 15 calendar days after contract award, with government approval or required corrections provided within 5 business days; production shall not commence until written approval is received. The contractor bears all shipping costs to the National Guard Bureau Logistics at the Pentagon. The government furnishes digital artwork files, which remain government property and cannot be used beyond contract performance. This Sources Sought Notice is market research only and does not constitute a solicitation; respondents incur costs at their own risk and will not be notified of results.
