About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base is conducting market research for the Next Generation Aerospace Ground Equipment (NGAGE) program to identify industry sources capable of developing and fielding innovative aerospace ground equipment for aircraft maintenance and operations. The procurement seeks contractors with expertise in manufacturing and delivering aerospace ground equipment as Original Equipment Manufacturers, as well as capabilities in generating technical data, engineering documentation, and supporting materials. Contractors must demonstrate experience through work samples from U.S. Government contracts performed within the last five years, with evaluation based on a self-scoring matrix system requiring at least one point to be considered technically acceptable. The evaluation methodology will utilize a "Technically Acceptable" source selection approach assessing Technical Rating, Small Business Participation, and Price Proposal factors. Companies interested in participating in this market research must submit responses to the Contractor Capability Survey by close of business on July 9, 2025, with submissions directed to Contracting Officer Amanda Ragan and Contracting Specialist Joe Lee.
This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and encourages participation from both large and small businesses. No current incumbents or contractors are identified in the documentation. The anticipated contract structure is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract with a substantial ceiling value of $910 million over a potential ten-year performance period. The contract includes a two-year base period with four optional two-year extensions, structured with five two-year ordering periods that allow for new contractors to be added through an on-ramp process every two years. The program emphasizes rapid prototyping and modernization efforts rather than long-term sustainment or full production runs, with each delivery order having its own specific performance timeline. The government plans to hold a virtual Industry Day to support the market research effort and anticipates awarding multiple contracts to qualifying offerors.
