About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base is conducting market research for the Next Generation Aerospace Ground Equipment (NGAGE) program to identify potential industry sources capable of developing and fielding innovative aerospace ground equipment (AGE) for aircraft maintenance and operations. The government seeks contractors with expertise in designing, developing, testing, and integrating new hardware and software for ground and aircraft common support equipment, with specific focus areas including original equipment manufacturer's AGE manufacturing and delivery, as well as technical data and engineering documentation delivery. Contractors must demonstrate experience through work samples from U.S. Government contracts performed within the last five years and complete a self-scoring matrix that achieves at least one point to be considered technically acceptable. The evaluation will use a Technically Acceptable methodology based on Technical Rating, Small Business Participation, and Price Proposal factors, with proposals rated on an acceptable/unacceptable basis. Responses to the Contractor Capability Survey are due by close of business on July 9, 2025, and must be submitted to Amanda Ragan and Joe Lee at the Support Equipment and Vehicles Contracting Office Team.
This opportunity has no set-aside designation and encourages participation from both large and small businesses across various categories. The document does not identify any current incumbents or existing contractors for this program. The anticipated contract structure is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract with a total estimated ceiling value of $910 million over its potential duration. The contract includes a two-year base period with four two-year option periods, potentially extending the total performance period to ten years with five two-year ordering periods. The program is designed for rapid modernization of aerospace ground equipment across various aircraft platforms including fighter, bomber, cargo/airlift, tanker, and unmanned aircraft, with planned on-ramp opportunities every two years to capture emerging market technologies. Large businesses participating must include Small Business Subcontracting Plans with specific goals: 30% Small Business, 5% Small Disadvantaged Business, 3% HUBZone, 5% Woman-Owned Small Business, and 5% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.
