About this opportunity

The US Embassy in Nicosia, Cyprus is soliciting competitive quotations for the procurement of one new right-hand drive mid-size SUV suitable for operation in Cyprus with EU specifications. This solicitation falls under NAICS code 423110 (Automobile and Other Motor Vehicle Merchant Wholesalers) and PSC code 2310 (Passenger Motor Vehicles). Offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at sam.gov prior to proposal submission, as required under FAR 4.1102, with failure to register resulting in the proposal being deemed non-responsible. The solicitation was posted on August 7, 2025, with responses due by September 2, 2025. Questions regarding this Request for Quotations should be directed to NicosiaContracting@state.gov, and the complete solicitation details are available in the attached government file "19CY6025Q0023_RFQ_for_Automobile_Purchase.pdf."

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified vendors meeting the registration requirements. The contract involves the supply and delivery of a single vehicle unit, making this a relatively small-scale acquisition for the Embassy's transportation needs. The place of performance is Cyprus, requiring the successful contractor to deliver the vehicle to that location. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are specified in the solicitation notice. The vehicle must meet European Union specifications to comply with local operational requirements in Cyprus, and the right-hand drive configuration suggests alignment with local driving standards.
