About this opportunity
This solicitation by the Department of the Army National Guard for onsite medical equipment inspection and calibration services has been cancelled effective June 17, 2026, due to unforeseen funding constraints and concurrent receipt of more urgent requirements. No contract award will be made from submitted proposals.
The North Dakota Army National Guard (NDARNG) had sought inspection, testing, and calibration services for MTOE and TDA medical equipment at five locations: Grand Forks, Fargo, Devils Lake, Minot, and Bismarck, North Dakota. The requirement was a Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with PSC code J065. The original proposal due date was May 1, 2026, extended to June 17, 2026 following two amendments that clarified inspection frequency (once per year) and repair requirements.
The contract period comprised one base year plus two option years, with services performed Monday through Friday, 0800–1600 hours, excluding federal holidays. The contractor was required to achieve 97% accuracy in inspection, testing, calibration, and documentation; maintain a Quality Control Plan; designate a Contract Manager with full operational authority; ensure all employees held required licenses and completed Awareness Training Level 1 within 30 days of hire; and submit service documentation within 72 hours of completion. Award would have been firm-fixed price to the responsible offeror whose conforming quote was most advantageous based on technical acceptability and price, with past performance evaluated on a pass/fail basis.
The National Guard Bureau has not established an estimated timeline for re-solicitation. Inquiries should be directed to SSG Daniel Kusler at 701-791-3630 or daniel.r.kusler.mil@army.mil.
