About this opportunity

The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking sources for a dedicated Linux Cluster system to support classified computational modeling and simulation up to the Secret level for antennas and Radio Frequency (RF) systems on naval platforms. The contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price commercial acquisition under FAR Part 12 and 13.5 procedures. NAWCAD is requesting capability statements from interested sources to determine if a competitive procurement should be conducted. The Statement of Work provides detailed requirements for the Linux Cluster, including hardware specifications and a 5-year onsite maintenance agreement.

This pre-solicitation is not set aside for any specific business category. No incumbent or current contractors are named. The government has not provided any information about the potential award value or budget range for this requirement. The key numerical details include the need for a Linux Cluster system to support NAWCAD's Radar and Computational Electromagnetics Modeling (RACEMM) Laboratory, with a 5-year period of performance.
