During the period of 1 October 2021 through 30 September 2026, this procurement will provide for technical services and support for the receipt, handling, and storage of large rocket motors at Camp Navajo, Bellemont AZ for the Navy’s Strategic Systems Program (SSP) office. SSP intends to enter into this agreement with the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (AZDEMA), Bellemont AZ 86015, under the authority of FAR 6.302, since they are the only known supplier of large diameter rocket motor storage facilities with personnel trained to support the New START inspection requirements for Navy missile programs.
This contract will also include four (4) one-year option periods. Security Clearance Required.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
