About this opportunity
The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) H-60 Multi-Mission Helicopters office (PMA-299) and Expeditionary and Maritime Aviation-Advanced Development Team (XMA-ADT) are hosting a joint industry day on March 18, 2025, at the RAND Corporation in Arlington, VA. The event will cover two key programs: the MH-60 Service Life Modernization (SLM) and the Future Vertical Lift (Maritime Strike) (FVL(MS)). During the event, PMA-299 will provide an unclassified status brief on the potential MH-60 SLM program, which aims to re-architect and modernize the MH-60R/MH-60S cockpit avionics and mission systems using a Modular Open System Approach. XMA-ADT will present a classified SECRET status brief on the FVL(MS) program following its Gate 2 Review. The event is organized by the Department of Defense to engage industry partners in meaningful discussions about these aviation modernization initiatives.
The industry day has specific registration requirements and guidelines for potential attendees. Seating is limited to 100 total participants, with an initial registration cap of two attendees per company (one programmatic and one technical subject matter expert). Interested contractors must register through a provided military forms link by March 7, 2025, at 5 PM EST. The event agenda includes four sessions covering SLM overview, acquisition strategy, systems engineering, and an FVL(MS) program status briefing. Participants are encouraged to submit unclassified questions in advance through the registration link. Approved attendees will receive additional instructions for submitting a visit request to the RAND Corporation. The purpose of this industry day is to provide insights into the potential MH-60 SLM program and the FVL(MS) program, seeking industry feedback and facilitating dialogue about future vertical lift and maritime strike capabilities.
