Diversity and Inclusion for NHLBI means an environment where the power of one is multiplied by the power of many to advance our public service. We strive to embody individuals from diverse backgrounds collaborating to create a workplace where different opinions and perspectives are respected and embraced. Our vision is to create a program where diversity and inclusion is part of the value system and becomes a fundamental part of the organizational culture, reflected in the everyday output and sustained in our long-term strategies. We seek to learn more about innovative D & I approaches, including customization to NHLBI's organizational culture, how these past approaches supported the values of the client organization, and any approaches used to measure progress of a D & I program and identification of gaps in existing strategies.
