About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is conducting market research to identify potential sources with the experience to provide all materials, equipment, labor, and shipping necessary to manufacture, deliver, assemble, and commission a Narrow Body Paint Booth and associated support spaces to accommodate a C-130 aircraft at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The booth must serve for both washing and painting of a single C-130 aircraft. The government has determined this to be a commercial item requirement, and interested contractors should provide documentation demonstrating their capability to meet the size, airflow, temperature, humidity, compressed air, water, and floor requirements outlined in the attached technical documents. Responses to the Contractor Capability Survey are due by May 25, 2024, and the government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with this market research.

This pre-solicitation notice does not include any set-aside designations. The government has not disclosed any potential incumbents or current contractors. The notice does not provide any information about potential award values or budget ranges. The key numerical details indicate that the paint booth must accommodate a single C-130 aircraft.
