About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the installation of a Narrow Body Paint Booth within Building 2026 at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, and shipping necessary to manufacture, deliver, assemble, and commission the paint booth, which will be used for washing and painting a single C-130 aircraft. The booth must meet various UFC, NFPA, and OSHA requirements, including providing laminar airflow, temperature and humidity control, and a decontamination area. The contractor shall also provide compressed air, an aircraft wash system, and fire suppression and detection systems. The performance period is not specified, but the contractor shall provide a 1-year parts and labor warranty. This requirement is part of a larger renovation/conversion project to convert Building 2026 from a general aircraft maintenance hangar to a corrosion control facility.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for potential sources with experience providing a Narrow Body Paint Booth and associated support spaces to accommodate a C-130 aircraft. The government is conducting market research and does not plan to reimburse participants for expenses associated with the survey. Contractors should provide documentation supporting their capability to meet the requirements.
