About this opportunity
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has published a Special Notice announcing the consolidation of three existing SETA (Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance) task orders for the Microsystems Technology Office (MTO). The notice informs the market that DARPA intends to consolidate three current IDIQ task orders—HR001122F0003, HR001122F0004, and HR001122F0005—into two new task order requirements. These consolidated requirements will be awarded through the General Services Administration (GSA) OASIS+ contract vehicle in 2026. The consolidation effort aims to streamline oversight, reduce corporate overhead, and improve procurement efficiency. DARPA has not yet issued the formal solicitation but plans to do so in January 2026, with anticipated solicitation numbers HR001126RE001 and HR001126RE002.
The consolidation will provide non-commercial support services across multiple disciplines including optics, photonics, physics, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, and human performance. Each of the two task orders will be structured as cost-plus-fixed-fee arrangements with a one-year base period and four one-year option years. GSA OASIS+ IDIQ holders will receive notifications through GSA eBuy regarding their fair opportunity to submit proposals in accordance with GSA OASIS+ ordering procedures and FAR 16.505(b); the Government will not post additional information on SAM.gov for this requirement. While the procurement is not set aside for small businesses, successful contractors must maintain an approved Subcontracting Plan to ensure small business utilization. The due date for submissions related to this opportunity is January 20, 2026.
