About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command is soliciting market research information for the procurement and turn-key installation of a closed-network Access Control System (ACS) and Video Monitoring System (CCTV) at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia. The 820th Base Defense Group and 93rd Air Ground Operations Wing are seeking qualified vendors to supply all necessary parts, equipment, software, and labor while removing legacy components. Key requirements include installing two-factor (CAC & PIN) readers, balanced magnetic switches, panic/lock-down buttons, and 24-hour battery backup that complies with UFC, NFPA-101, and NFPA-72 standards. The system must operate as a stand-alone Windows 11 workstation with complete offline functionality, no AFNET or internet connectivity, and must support entry data logging for at least 45 days with schedule configuration capabilities. Additionally, the vendor must install six interior CCTV cameras capable of producing at least 2K video quality with facial recognition in low-light and infrared conditions, with 120-day footage retention. This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research purposes only, with submissions due by April 27, 2026, directed to maximos.ramirez@us.af.mil, with questions answered at (229) 257-4712.
This pre-solicitation notice contains no set-aside designation and identifies no current contractors or incumbents. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in this RFI phase. The contract scope encompasses a complete turn-key installation project at a single Air Force base location, with no specific timeline for completion, contract duration, or quantity specifications outlined in the available documentation. As this is an RFI rather than a formal solicitation, detailed evaluation criteria and final contractual terms have not yet been established. Interested vendors should note that this market research phase precedes formal solicitation and that responses will inform the government's acquisition strategy moving forward.
