Notice text
This firm-fix-price contract is for the preparation and delivery of a monitoring report for the Coso Hot Springs Monitoring Program at Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS), China Lake, California.
The Coso Monitoring Program was initiated by the US Navy's Geothermal Program Office (GPO) in 1978 to gather baseline data on the surface and near-surface thermal activity at Devils Kitchen and Coso Hot Springs, which are the main active thermal features associated with the Coso geothermal area located within the Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS), China Lake, CA. The purpose of the yearly Coso Monitoring report is to document changes in the physical and chemical parameters related to the Coso Hot Springs Archaeological District, and to gain insight into the geology and hydrology of the near surface geothermal activity in the Coso Hot Springs area. Establishing an unambiguous and quantitative baseline permits comparison of conditions over a period of years.
