About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure an audio frequency monitor (NSN 7R-5895-015688724-KB) under federal contract opportunity 68a7609629ceb6a08405e3c2. This procurement falls under the IT and Telecom - Network category, specifically for analog voice products hardware and perpetual license software (PSC 7G20). The solicitation is restricted to acquisition from source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by DoD-STD-100, as suitable technical data, government data rights, or manufacturing/repair knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from alternative sources or qualification testing of substitute parts. The government has determined that required technical data or data rights are not in government possession and cannot be economically obtained, necessitating the single-source acquisition approach. The Pre-solicitation Notice was posted on August 21, 2025, with a due date for proposals of January 30, 2026.
This contract carries no set-aside designation and will be awarded as an unrestricted procurement. The requirement specifies a quantity of 13 units with delivery on an FOB Origin basis. While the Pre-solicitation Notice does not disclose a specific award value or budget range, the restricted procurement nature and single-source requirement indicate this is a specialized component with limited supplier availability. No incumbent contractor or current contract holder is identified in the notice, and potential bidders should note that qualification requirements and technical specifications are controlled by the source control drawing referenced in DoD-STD-100, which will likely be detailed further in the formal solicitation.
