About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command, Weapons Division is conducting a sources sought inquiry for high-end, mobile computer systems and warranty support for the Naval Mission Planning Systems (NavMPS), which provides computer tools to aid in aircraft mission planning. This pre-solicitation notice seeks information from potential industry sources regarding available technologies that can support these critical mission planning capabilities. Contractors must obtain certification through the Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or Export Controlled Information, with access limited to a single point of contact per CAGE code who serves as the Data Custodian on the DD 2345 form. The DD 2345 must receive approval from the Defense Logistics Agency prior to requesting CUI access in SAM.gov. The original response deadline has been extended, with responses now due by October 24, 2025, following the posting of this amendment on September 19, 2025.

This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it open to all qualified contractors who can meet the certification requirements. The notice does not identify any current incumbents or potential contractors already providing similar services to the Naval Mission Planning Systems program. No contract values, budget ranges, or specific quantities of computer systems are disclosed in this pre-solicitation phase, as this appears to be an information-gathering exercise to assess market capabilities. The timeline for actual contract performance or delivery schedules has not been specified, indicating that these details will likely be addressed in subsequent solicitation documents once the government completes its market research through this sources sought process.
