About this opportunity

The U.S. Marshals Service is seeking quotes for specialized robotics equipment to support mission-critical fugitive apprehension operations through solicitation 15M10225QA4700167. The procurement includes one AXON AIR SKY-HERO Ground Control System Starter Kit and one AXON AIR SKY-HERO SIGYN Ground Robot Starter Kit, both manufactured by AXON. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), possess a valid CAGE code, and submit quotes on company letterhead with specified documentation including a signed SF-1449 form with pricing. The evaluation will be conducted using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria as outlined in clause 52.212-2. Quotes are due by June 16, 2025, with delivery required by July 11, 2025, providing vendors with an extremely tight four-day response window.

Despite the federal contract opportunity description indicating "No Set-Aside Used," the government file summary identifies this as a small business set-aside under NAICS code 334511 with a size standard of 1,350 employees. The solicitation does not specify the contract value or budget range, nor does it identify any incumbent contractors or previous suppliers for these specialized ground robot systems. The equipment consists of two distinct starter kits that will be delivered to the U.S. Marshals Service Western District of Tennessee. Performance will take place in downtown Memphis, Tennessee, where the robotic systems will be deployed to enhance the agency's fugitive apprehension capabilities. The mission-critical designation underscores the urgent operational need for these advanced technological tools in law enforcement operations.
